Questions about Call Centre Prep
Is Call Centre Prep really free?
Yes. Call Centre Prep is free for job seekers. Places are offered after the free ShiftMate assessment: create your free profile with your phone number, do the assessment, and if your results show the course will help you, we open a place for you.
How do I get a place?
Create your free ShiftMate profile and complete the free assessment. A reviewer looks at your results and refers you into Call Centre Prep when it's the right next step. You'll then see the course when you log in.
Do I need call centre experience?
No. The course is made for people who have never worked in a contact centre. It starts with the basics and builds up day by day.
What do I need to do the course?
A smartphone with data or Wi-Fi, and a quiet spot for the voice practice. There is no campus, no laptop and no travel.
Will I get a certificate or a job?
Call Centre Prep is not an accredited qualification and it does not guarantee a job. It gets you ready for a real induction so you start strong. For a qualification, see our QCTO contact centre programmes.
Who coaches me?
Naledi, our AI tutor. After every answer you hear what you got right, what to fix and why, and you can ask her for help inside any module.
How long does it take?
The course follows ten training days. You work at your own pace, and each module unlocks the next one when you finish it.
