About This Role
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Call Center Agent to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the voice of our organization, handling inbound and outbound customer calls with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency. You will be responsible for resolving customer inquiries, processing transactions, and providing exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. Key responsibilities include answering customer inquiries in a professional, friendly, and timely manner, resolving customer issues and complaints with a focus on first-call resolution, processing customer orders, payments, and account changes accurately, documenting all interactions in the CRM system, meeting or exceeding daily call targets and quality metrics, identifying and escalating complex issues to management or specialized teams when necessary, participating in ongoing training and development programs, and maintaining confidentiality while complying with company policies and procedures. This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week with shift work including evenings and weekends. Requirements
- Matric certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 6 months experience in customer service, call centre, or retail environment
- Fluent in English with clear verbal communication skills
- Basic computer literacy and ability to type while talking
- Reliable transport to La Lucia for shift work including evenings and weekends
- Own smartphone with WhatsApp for team communication
