About This Role
Insurance sales over the phone is one of the most regulated, technically demanding, and financially rewarding sales environments in South Africa. What You Will Do: • Make outbound calls to warm prospect lists to present and sell insurance products • Conduct a full needs-based product presentation in accordance with FAIS advice obligations • Complete a full verbal and written disclosure on every sale including product terms, exclusions, premium, and cancellation rights • Obtain fully informed consent before processing any policy • Handle objections using product knowledge and genuine value propositions — never pressure tactics • Process all cooling-off cancellations immediately within the 30-day statutory period • Meet monthly sales targets while maintaining a minimum 95% compliance score What You Bring: • Matric / Grade 12 (essential) • Minimum 1 year outbound insurance sales experience in a licensed environment • FAIS awareness — particularly disclosure obligations • RE5 certification advantageous (or willingness to write within 12 months — supported) • Proven track record with compliance scores above 90% Advantageous: RE5 already completed; experience selling funeral, credit life, or gap cover; NQF Level 4 in Insurance What We Offer: • R8,000 – R10,000 basic + commission R6,000 – R20,000 per month (top performers) • Industry-leading commission structure paid monthly on net retained premiums • Full RE5 examination support and study materials provided • FAIS CPD programme managed on your behalf • ShiftMate Verified Assessment required — BPO Layer 1 Screener + Layer 2 Outbound Sales Knowledge Verification
