About This Role
Lead generation is where the sales pipeline lives or dies. You are not closing deals — you are qualifying the opportunities that allow closers to close. What You Will Do: • Make outbound calls to prospect lists to identify and qualify potential customers • Open every call with a transparent, compliant introduction and consent check • Qualify prospects against defined eligibility criteria for each campaign • Confirm interest, collect qualifying information, and obtain documented consent • Accurately log all call outcomes using correct disposition codes • Process all opt-out requests immediately and permanently • Pass qualified leads to the sales team with full context and agreed callback time • Maintain POPIA, CPA, and TCF compliance on every call What You Bring: • Matric / Grade 12 (essential) • Minimum 6 months outbound calling experience • Strong listening skills — this role is discovery-led, not pitch-led • POPIA awareness regarding consent requirements and opt-out obligations Advantageous: Experience in insurance or financial services lead generation; SQL/MQL lead qualification frameworks; bilingual What We Offer: • R7,000 – R9,000 basic + quality-linked incentive up to R4,000 per month • Daily performance coaching from a dedicated Pipeline Team Leader • Clear progression path to Senior Lead Agent and Outbound Sales Agent • ShiftMate Verified Assessment required — BPO Layer 1 Screener + Layer 2 Lead Generation Knowledge Verification
