Senior Bookkeeper

VACANCY: SENIOR BOOKKEEPER Location: Edenvale, Gauteng We are seeking an experienced, reliable and detail-oriented Senior Bookkeeper to manage the full bookkeeping function independently, from daily transactions through to trial balance for the auditors. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Full bookkeeping function up to trial balance. * Payroll processing and statutory submissions. * Bank, creditor, debtor and balance-sheet reconciliations. * VAT returns, journals and month-end procedures. * Maintaining accurate financial records and preparing for the annual audit. REQUIREMENTS * Minimum five years’ relevant bookkeeping experience, preferably at senior level. * Proven ability to manage accounts independently up to trial balance. * Strong payroll, VAT and reconciliation knowledge. * Pastel Evolution experience is essential. * Fluent in English, with good reading, writing and communication skills. * Able to perform the essential duties of the position, with reasonable accommodation where required. * Relevant bookkeeping or accounting qualifications will be an advantage.
